保育士は日本の国家資格で、保育園など児童福祉施設で働くための資格です。赤ちゃんや幼児の保育をする専門家として日本国家が認める保育専門資格です。

全国、どこに住んでいても近くに保育園があれば採用してもらえるので、仕事が見つけやすい。
If there is a Hoikuen nearby, you will be able to work no matter where you are in Japan (since there are countless number of Hoikuen spread across the nation), and is a profession that is easier to find a school to work at.
認可保育園の保育料は税金で支払われるので、経営(けいえい)が安定していて、お給料が安定します。
The salary and the management is stable, since the childcare fee of the licensed Hoikuen is paid by tax.
首都圏の認可園や認証園で働くと、住居が必要(ひつよう)な場合は、お給料とは別に、原則として家賃も補助してもらえます。(約月 82,000 円)。
In addition to stable income, if you need a place to live as a Hoikusi working at a licensed or certified Hoikuen in Tokyo, you can (in general) get subsidies for rent in addition to your salary. (approx. 82,000 yen a month).

保育士国家試験(国試)実施機関が認める、海外の大学卒業をし且つ大学の学位証明書を提出できる人
A person who has graduated from an overseas university and able to submit a university diploma, which is approved by the Hoikusi National examination council.
